Prenatal & Postnatal Fitness in Oxford

Whilst you may think that once your baby arrives it’s business as usual exercise-wise, that is actually not the case, which is why we provide both prenatal and postnatal fitness support in our private Oxford gym.

PRENATAL: The female body undergoes major changes during pregnancy and exercise has a big role to play. Strength training and fitness training are actually encouraged, and are extremely beneficial to both mother and child, helping your long term health and increasing your chances of a trouble-free delivery.

POSTNATAL: Careful structured exercise is required to return to your pre-natal body shape and considerations must be made to ensure your body heals fully from the demands of delivery. These exercises can affect everything from your ongoing health and wellbeing and even your sex life.

There are many misleading stories out there regarding exercises when pregnant, and you should only trust a qualified pre and postnatal specialist like myself to make sure you are doing the best for yourself and your child.
