About Me

 

My name is Alan Griffin, I’m a strength and conditioning specialist. As a fully qualified Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist, I’m passionate about your goals.

I studied at the YMCA central London training facility (the UK’s centre of excellence since 1844) earning my advanced diploma in personal fitness training. This covers all areas from basic fitness through to strength training (Including nutrition, weight loss, muscle building, suspension training, pad work, HIIT, etc).

I also studied at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine where I achieved my diploma in Sports massage therapy. Massage can help in many ways, from basic stress relieving gentle techniques through to deeper tissue manipulation for athletic and mobility conditions.

Griffin.fit is a one-stop solution for your health and fitness needs in Oxford. Over the years I’ve helped many people with their wellness goals, and offer personal training in a private gym or smaller home-based sessions for one-to-one or small group training.

If you’re looking for more of a boot camp style training, or enjoy being outdoors, I run weekly small group training sessions in Headington Quarry, which are perfect for those on a budget. My Parkfit sessions mix circuits and cardio for a refreshing full-body workout, welcoming all ages and abilities.

To support you with your fitness goals, my sports massage therapy sessions help maintain healthy bodies and speed up the recovery of aching muscles and injured joints.

My aim is to help you become the best you can be and feel happy and proud in your own skin. Hopefully giving you a more positive, confident outlook on life.
